No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no heart has imagined, what God has prepared for those who love Him—1 Corinthians 2:9 (Berean Study Bible).

These words do not refer to the glories of a future state, but to the blessings of the Gospel dispensation. He alone believes truth who feels it. The coming of Christ in the flesh is the foundation of all God’s blessings to mankind, and these words are generally understood to refer to the ultimate happy effects of the Divine mercy in the hearts of those who receive and love Him.
